Tony King started working for Decca Records on his 16th birthday in 1958. By 19, he was promoting records for Brenda Lee, Roy Orbison and The Ronettes. He would go on to work with The Beatles, Elton John, Freddie Mercury, and the Rolling Stones, pulling together some of the most successful albums and pop culture moments of the 20th Century.
This channel shares exclusive clips from an interview with Tony King and broadcaster John Wilson (This Cultural Life), filmed at the iconic Abbey Road Studio. Now in his 80s, Tony tells his story on camera for the first time.
